Social Media Nutrition Burnout

Don't eat this! Don't eat that! Did you know that (insert any random food) is killing you? Broccoli isn't real!

If you use social media you may be tired, fed up, and possibly a little scared and have anxiety when it comes to what you should eat. So many social media influencers use fear to get views, walking in supermarkets as if they are mine fields and too often telling you what the problem "is" and selling you the solution.

Now, of course it would be a poor business model to just give answers away. That being said, AltWellHealth never seeks to make anyone fearful about the food they choose to eat. Instead, we believe empowering people to make the best decision possible is the only way to defeat the issues we see in preventable health concerns in this country.

As an integrative nutrition health coach, we look at every aspect of YOUR life and your current situation. Unless that media influencer knows YOU, their content might not be for you. If it sounds extreme, most likely it is.

Most fear mongering content out there does not take into consideration YOUR bio-individuality. Bio-individualism is a concept that correctly points out we are all different, our needs are different from each other AND our needs are always changing. Working with a health coach allows them to take into consideration all facets of your life to help you make reasonable and appropriate adjustments. Throwing away everything in your pantry might not be reasonable.

Working with one of our integrative nutrition health coaches also comes with research services. We take our time and look at the available data thoroughly as opposed to just reading headlines and editorial pieces. We then present this data and use it to help you make an educated decision.

If social media has worn you down, don't get upset. Turn off notifications, clean up your following list, and take a social media fast. If you are looking to make a change in your health and in your life, contact us.
